Inspired by the Forestry Farm “Artist-in-Residence" Bunkhouse Project with the City of Saskatoon

With support from Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan Festival Inc.

“COSMOS,” a collaboration between poet Peace Akintade-Oluwagbeye and musician Micah Jane, is an epic display of what it means to be human. Peace and Micah were selected to partake in an artist  residency facilitated by the Saskatoon Forestry Farm entitled ‘The Bunkhouse Project’. During their time in Residence, they wrote and directed COSMOS as a way to share the work they have been creating over the past three months. This deeply personal showcase uses an immersive blend of songwriting, dance and spoken word poetry to tell the coming of age stories of two young emerging artists. With choreography by Tatum Wildeman and themes of nature, climate change, and good vs evil, COSMOS is a profound visual experience that will leave the audience eager for more.

Tickets available NOW by clicking HERE, or can be purchased at the door on September 13th.

Doors will open at 6:30pm

The show will begin at 7:00pm.

5% of all Cosmos ticket sales will go to Chokecherry Studios, a non-profit organization that offers arts-based programming, mentorship, production facilities, and a gallery to young and emerging artists in core neighbourhoods of Saskatoon.

Special thanks to the Heather & David Foundation and the RBC Emerging Artist Project whose support has made this event possible.

In order to protect our artists and audience, masks will be required inside the ampitheatre and there will be two empty social distancing seats in between each booking.
