Kayvon Khoshkam (he/him)
Artistic Director


Kayvon Khoshkam (he/him) is a Canadian director, actor, producer, writer and musician. He was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK. He is a graduate of The Canadian College of Performing Arts with a focus on playwriting. He founded the Pull Festival: Vancouver's 10 minute play festival (2012-2019), and was the Artistic Director of SpeakEasy Theatre (2016-2021). In 2015, Kayvon had the honour of being a member of The National Arts Centre's English Theatre ensemble. Kayvon has worked across Canada, the United States and overseas.


Melanie Rogowski (she/her)
General Manager



Originally from Moose Jaw, Melanie has made Saskatoon her home since 2014. She trained at the University of Regina where she received a BFA and B.Ed. She has worked as a stage manager for large and small theatre companies across the province and has worked in various arts administrator capacities for The Globe Theatre, New Dance Horizons, and the Saskatchewan Playwrights Centre. Her history with Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan dates back to 2010 when she came on board as the Community Stage Producer. From 2016 to 2018 she was the production stage manager for the company and enjoyed working here so much she joined the administration team in November of 2018 as the Operations Manager.  In November 2020 she accepted the position of General Manager.


Kristy Rempel
Director of Marketing and Communication




Self-employed event manager for almost 10 years, Kristy comes to Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan with a background in marketing and sponsorship recruitment. Serial entrepreneur and lifelong learner, Kristy manages several businesses in Saskatoon, returned to university in her 40’s and holds a number of marketing contracts, including Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan. Focused on strategic marketing and win-win partnerships, she is excited to grow the team and the scope of the marketing department at SOTS.


Brandi Roy (she/her)
Festival & Administrative Coordinator


Originally from Prince Albert, Brandi has recently returned to Saskatoon to continue pursuit of her goals in the community event industry. She has always had a passion for music, art and literature and strives to combine this with her coordinating skills to assist in providing the community access to art and beauty. She completed her certificate in Event Management from Mount Royal University at the end of 2018. Brandi’s previous event experience includes volunteer work with the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and Saskatchewan Jazz Festival as well as work with the Prince Albert Downtown Business Improvement District, Prince Albert Exhibition Center and the Kiwanis Music Festival. She eagerly joins Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan as Festival and Office Coordinator and is enthusiastic about working with this local acclaimed festival.

Kody Manson (he/him)
Production and Site Manager

Kody Manson (he/him) is a technician and theatre artist educated at the University of Saskatchewan with a BFA-H in drama. Kody has spent the last five years working as a lighting technician and has worked on dozens of festivals including The Saskatoon EX, Dauphin's Countryfest, and Rock the River to name a few. He is excited to be back working in theatre and is proud to join the team at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.


Rebecca Spilchak (she/they)
Publicity & Admin Intern

Rebecca Spilchak (she/they) is the Publicity and Admin Intern at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan. They are an acting student at the University of Saskatchewan working towards their BFA. Rebecca is originally from Ituna, Saskatchewan located on Treaty 4 territory. She is grateful to be living, working, and learning in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 territory. Recent performance credits include The Margin of the Sky, Concord Floral, and Gordon Winter (Greystone Theatre). They also Stage Managed Greystone Theatre’s production of Unity(1918). Rebecca is excited to be working with Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan for the 2022 season.

Susan Scharf (she/her)
Director of Donor Services


Susan Scharf (pronounced “scarf”) has served in Saskatchewan’s charitable sector for “more years than I care to do the math about”. She has a passion for live theatre and for meaningful philanthropy/ friend raising. She is looking forward to serving behind the scenes at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.
