This page can be beneficial to individuals with mobility and hearing concerns as well as those with developmental conditions and other people with differently abled bodies. If you do not find the information you were looking for or would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to call our office at 306-653-2300 as we are more than happy to help.

Parking

There are a few different places you can park at the festival:

-The parking lots located next to the Festival Site.  These are scheduled for a major upgrade and the addition of a drop off loop for our patrons beginning in the fall of 2020!  Check out the Meewasin Valley Authority's plans for this HERE.

-The Kinsmen Park parking lot next to the YWCA building

-The Nutrien Playland parking area

-Residential parking around City Hospital (be careful of time limts)

With the Wonderhub re-oepning and the Prairie Lily River Boat tours, spots can fill up fast so ensure you budget enough time to find a spot!

Physical Accessibility

Our new courtyard is all stone with rakes between 1-3% but no more than 4.5%. The entire site is accessible by wheelchair. Outdoor surfaces include: stone, crusherdust and ashphalt. The Riverside Deck is also fully accessible for wheelchairs.  All of our service windows are designed for wheelchair users.

Currently if you need to get closer to our site to drop someone off it can be a bit tricky as we do not YET have an offiical drop off loop. We are currently working on making our site more accessible alongside our 2020 renovations.

Service Animals are allowed and welcomed! If you have any questions or accommodations needed to support your visit please call our office at 306-653-2300 and ask to speak with the Operations Manager.

Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan is not a scent free environment. Individuals with allergies or scent sensitivities may wish to contact the Front of House Staff should the need to move arise.
