Shakespeare festival announces a bold new season with something for everyone

Category: In the NewsShakespeare on the Saskatchewan announces its 32nd Season on the Saskatchewan! With the South Saskatchewan River as a backdrop, Artistic Producer Will Brooks announced the festival’s artistic plans as well as some new partnerships and festival activities. For the first time in recent memory the festival will have three different directors and three performances to see during their 32nd season of performance in downtown Saskatoon. There is something for everyone this season from a circus themed Midsummer Night’s Dream to innovative street theatre to the special adaptation of the tragedy of Caesar with a cast of strong Saskatchewan female performers. The festival runs from July 6 to August 21, 2016 – tickets available beginning in April at ticketmaster.ca.
