Chefs on the Saskatchewan August 10

With help from three of Saskatchewan's finest Chefs, we will create a culinary and artistic evening you won't soon forget.  We have gathered three independent Chefs who will collaborate to create an amazing high-end multi-course meal with local ingredients paired with local beer, wine and spirits!  Jennifer Schrenk (Chef Jenni) along with Matt Fehr (Figs and Pigs) and Heather Bekar (Chef De Partie) are excited to share their talents in this all Saskatchewan "foody" evening.  Local suppliers include Sask Made, Saskatoon Co-op, Black Fox Farm and Distillery and Black Bridge Brewery. 

Tickets are only $150 and include exclusive seating at that evening's performance of Twelfth Night.  Only 75 seats available, book early to avoid disappointment that may include food envy followed by a short period of immense sadness.  Doors open at 5:00pm with the meal commencing at 5:30pm.

Tomato rhubarb gazpacho and cucumber basil gazpacho

Black Bridge Milk Stout braised bison short ribs (prepared by Figs and Pigs)

The musical entertainment for the evening will be provided by 'Gopher Broke'.

Gopher Broke:

Mark Gimby grew up playing oldtime dances in rural Saskatchewan in a time when people knew how to entertain themselves. In community halls and one room schools he learned the ropes from the players who pioneered the genre. Mona spent 17 years traveling with her family band in Canada, USA and Europe playing music on the streets, in bars and restaurants, for weddings and small festivals. Paul is a musician, teacher, composer and producer. Paul has written hundreds of fiddle tunes and loves to play them, especially for dancers. Together they bring a mix of fiddle tunes, old classics, Appalasian hoe down and Saskatchewan dance standards.
