Anita is very excited to be returning to Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan after directing the ground-shifting production J. Caesar with her all-female cast of warriors in 2016.  An active member of the Saskatoon theatre community, Anita fills a variety of roles both on and off the stage.  As the General Manager of Saskatoon Summer Players, Anita has helped produce 14 of their recent productions, and as an Actor some of her favorite credits include: Waiting for the Parade (Lili Marlene Cooperative), Quick Bright Things (Persephone Theatre), Twelfth Night (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan), and Pillars & Echoes (Saskatchewan Legislative Building Centennial Artists in Residence Project).  A passionate feminist, Anita is very excited to be working with her friends and colleagues at Ferre Play Theatre to produce and perform in Margret Atwood’s The Penelopiad in the fall of 2019.  Anita is grateful for this opportunity to work on her 10th Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan production.
