S.E. Grummett

Previously at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan: Titus (Assistant Director) 2018.

S.E. Grummett is a creator/performer, puppeteer and projection designer from Saskatoon and a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan’s acting program. She performed on the Greystone stage in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Caucasian Chalk Circle and Coram Boy. Grummett has written and produced work for the stage, including The Loveseat, Junk Mail, and The Legend of Bone Creek. Her play, HateFuck was recently featured at SUM Theatre’s Last Sunday. Recently, Grummett has been combining her love for theatre with her background in video, as a projection designer for Live Five’s first show of the season, Grounded. Grummett has spent the last year playing Andy Warhol in the raunchy, feminist comedy, SCUM: a manifesto, which she co-created and has toured across Canada. Currently, Grummett is a puppeteer with Wide Open Children’s Theatre in their touring show, Very Merry Munsch. She has also begun dabbling in stand-up and sketch comedy, but even her mom doesn’t think she’s funny. With an interest in creating provocative and political work, Grummett is extremely excited to be joining the SOTS team on Titus: A Puppet Revenge.
