Kenn is a director, performer, and educator. He received his BFA in Acting at the University of Regina and his MFA in Directing from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Some directing highlights include The Pillowman (Hectik Theatre), Spring’s Awakening (UNLV & U of R), Danny, King of the Basement (Persephone Theatre) and the World Premier of Yvette Nolan’s The Birds (U of R).  Some acting credits include: Monty Steals Christmas, The Haunted Man (Dancing Sky Theatre), Dry Streak (Station Arts Center), Never Swim Alone, What Would Judas Do? (Golden Apple Theatre)

As a Clown, you may have seen him around Saskatoon at The Alt Alt Festival (2016), Live Five Season Launch Cabaret (2017), and Short Cuts (2017). He created and performed in The Island, a full length Clown show. He has taught Clown for the University of Regina, University of New Mexico, Dancing Sky Theatre, Saskatchewan Drama Association, Theatre Saskatchewan, The Saskatchewan Cultural Exchange Tour, Tricklock Theatre, as well as at the National Hispanic Cultural Centre in New Mexico.

Kenn has trained with Number 11 theatre (Toronto), The North American Cultural Laboratory (New York), Vancouver Circus School (Vancouver), Dell Arte International School of Physical Theatre (California), Old Trout Puppet Workshop (Alberta), and The Manitoulin Center for Creation and Performance (Ontario). He is the artistic director of Hectik Theatre (Regina) and Souris Valley Theatre (Estevan), a founding member of Combat Improv, and a founding member of the Prairie Puppet Underground. He is proud to be a Saskatchewan artist.
