Crispi Lord

Previously at Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan:  Titus (Puppet Choreography & Puppet Design) 2018.

Crispi and her partner Kristi Friday of Stumped Productions have been brainstorming ideas for Titus on the puppet stage since 2001.  Here we are making it happen!  Crispi is the Head Puppet Wrangler at Wide Open Children’s Theatre, a founding member of Live Five, and Master Caster at Stumped Productions.  If she didn’t mind revealing how old she was she would insist on telling you that for the past 17 years she has been working in puppetry: designing, building, writing, performing, manipulating, cleaning, repairing, improvising and having a hell of a good time.  Crispi has a BFA (acting) from the U of S, a PTP (physical theatre in performance) from Dell’Arte International and 3 C (children) from her loins/husband.  She has toured the Canadian Fringe circuit and performed with Dancing Sky Theatre, Pauper Etiquette, Flip Side Productions, and Wide Open Children’s Theatre.  Favorite things she has done onstage include: double dutch jump rope, corralling a clown elephant while stilt walking, performing 16 puppets in one show, singing in a half human/half puppet trio in a puppet burlesque, developing ‘Prairie Panto’s with Dancing Sky Theatre and seeing Titus A. puppet revenge come to life on the puppet stage!
